Who We Are 우리는..Quiénes somos


First Korean Presbyterian Church is a Christ-centered, multi-cultural community located in the heart of McAllen, Texas. We believe that we are better together, uniting English, Korean, and Spanish-speaking believers to worship God, grow in faith, and serve our neighbors. Our worship has something that penetrates deeply through the Scriptures. We aspire to be a church where the Gospel, the Word, worship, and ministry are alive and active.

맥앨런 제일한인장로교회는 텍사스 주 맥앨런 북서쪽에  위치한, 그리스도 중심의 다문화 공동체입니다. '모든 영혼은 같다'라는 슬로건을 가집니다. 미션, 에딘버그, 그리고 맥알렌이 하나로 만나는 트라이 시티의 중심에 있는 것을  감사합니다. 우리는 함께할 때 더 강해진다고 믿으며, 영어, 한국어, 스페인어를 사용하는 신자들이 하나님을 예배하고, 믿음 안에서 성장하며, 이웃을 섬기기 위해 하나로 연합합니다. 우리의 예배는 복음과 성경에 충실하고자 합니다. 

La Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana Coreana es una comunidad multicultural centrada en Cristo, ubicada en el corazón de McAllen, Texas. Creemos que somos mejores juntos, uniendo a creyentes de habla inglesa, coreana y española para adorar a Dios, crecer en la fe y servir a nuestros vecinos. Nuestra adoración tiene algo que penetra profundamente a través de las Escrituras. Aspiramos a ser una iglesia donde el Evangelio, la Palabra, la adoración y el ministerio estén vivos y activos.

Our mission is to glorify God by loving Him wholeheartedly and serving others faithfully. Through worship, discipleship, acts of compassion like soup kitchens, and cultural initiatives such as Korean language and culture classes, we aim to impact our city with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

Nuestra misión es glorificar a Dios amándolo de todo corazón y sirviendo a los demás con fidelidad.
A través de la adoración, estudios bíblicos en grupos pequeños, movimientos de oración matutina, ministerio rural y actividades culturales coreanas, buscamos conectar nuestra ciudad y vecinos con el amor y la esperanza de Jesucristo.

    We are located at the center where the three cities of McAllen, Mission, and Edinburg, Texas meet.
    Whether you are new to the city or simply looking for a church home, come to the church that the Bible intends.
    We invite everyone to worship with us every Sunday at 11 am.
    It is a warm community where you can learn the Korean language, experience Korean culture, and join people of many ethnicities in praising the Lord.

    God gave Jesus to save the world, but the world did not accept this, and they lie that they have no sin. Therefore, there is no fellowship with God, and this becomes an eternal two-way path. The cross declares that God raised His Son to heaven, and the world has no one to fight against. Now is the era where the Holy Spirit confronts evil directly. Therefore, without prayer and receiving the Holy Spirit, one cannot discern or withstand Satan’s schemes. The way of faith is the way of the Spirit, making it a narrow path. In the morning, the Lord said, 'I give you My peace.' No one can overcome God.

    하나님은 예수를 주고 세상을 구원하기로 했다. 그러나 세상은 이것을 받아들이지 않았고, 그들은 죄가 없다고 거짓말한다. 그러므로 하나님과 사귐이 없다. 이것은 영원한 두 길이 된다. 십자가는 말한다. 하나님은 아들을 하늘로 올리셨고, 세상은 싸울 대상이 없어졌다. 이제는 하나님의 성령이 악을 직접 상대하는 시대가 되었다. 그러므로 기도하여 성령을 받지 않으면 사탄의 계략을 분별하거나 감당할 수 없다. 믿음의 길은 성령의 길이다. 그래서 좁은 길이 된다. 아침에 주님은 말씀하셨다. '나의 평안을 주노라.' 하나님을 상대해서 이길 적은 없다.

    Dios dio a Jesús para salvar al mundo, pero el mundo no lo aceptó y mienten diciendo que no tienen pecado. Por lo tanto, no hay comunión con Dios, y esto se convierte en un camino eterno de dos vías. La cruz declara que Dios levantó a Su Hijo al cielo, y el mundo no tiene a quién enfrentar. Ahora es la era en que el Espíritu Santo enfrenta directamente el mal. Por lo tanto, sin oración y recibir al Espíritu Santo, uno no puede discernir ni resistir los planes de Satanás.     There is a worship service and a community offered in three languages. Such a church can rightly be called a Church of the Holy Spirit. Language speaks everything—culture, history, race, color—and God was the first to create words. Therefore, He is the Word. The Word is God, and that God took human form and lived on this earth for a time. The Word builds, protects, and dwells with the church together with the Holy Spirit. In the end, faith is the work of the Spirit confirming the Word. The Holy Spirit transcends all things yet unites the community. The Spirit is the way, the truth, and the life. This Spirit will lead all servants to the Lamb on the last day. That is because of thanksgiving. It is an amazing sight of the Spirit giving thanks to the Son. The Son’s cross and gospel gave birth to the Spirit, and that gospel goes before God the Father. Amen! Do not be shaken!

    세 개의 언어로 드리는 예배가 있고 공동체가 있다. 이런 교회를 성령의 교회라고 불러도 좋을 것 같다. 언어는 모든 것을 말한다—문화와 역사와 인종과 색깔, 그리고 하나님은 최초로 말을 만든 사람이다. 그래서 그는 말씀이다. 그 말씀이 곧 하나님이고, 그 하나님이 잠시 사람의 모습을 하고 이 땅에 살아계셨다. 말씀은 성령과 함께 교회를 세우고 지키고 함께한다. 결국 믿음은 말씀을 확정짓는 성령의 일이다. 성령은 모든 것을 초월하면서도 공동체를 하나되게 한다. 성령이 길이요, 진리요, 생명이다. 이 성령은 마지막 날에 어린 양 앞으로 모든 종들을 인도한다. 그것이 감사이기 때문이다. 성령이 아들 예수께 감사하는 놀라운 광경이다. 아들의 십자가 복음이 성령을 낳게 했고, 그 복음이 하나님 아버지 앞으로 가게 했다. 아멘! 흔들리지 마라!!

     Hay un servicio de adoración y una comunidad ofrecidos en tres idiomas. Tal iglesia puede llamarse correctamente una Iglesia del Espíritu Santo. El lenguaje lo dice todo: cultura, historia, raza, color, y Dios fue el primero en crear palabras. Por eso Él es la Palabra. La Palabra es Dios, y ese Dios tomó forma humana y vivió en esta tierra por un tiempo. La Palabra construye, protege y habita con la iglesia junto con el Espíritu Santo. Al final, la fe es la obra del Espíritu que confirma la Palabra. El Espíritu Santo trasciende todas las cosas y, al mismo tiempo, une a la comunidad. El Espíritu es el camino, la verdad y la vida. Este Espíritu guiará a todos los siervos al Cordero en el último día. Esto es por acción de gracias. Es una vista asombrosa del Espíritu dando gracias al Hijo. La cruz y el evangelio del Hijo dieron a luz al Espíritu, y ese evangelio va delante de Dios Padre. ¡Amén! ¡No te dejes sacudir!
