A Family of Faith

Everything is grace. For the past four years, I believe we have prayed earnestly, hurt deeply, sometimes endured ridicule, and continued to run faithfully. I only hoped that our zeal would be God’s own zeal.

I bow my head in gratitude for everyone’s labor. We have come and gone, moved away and moved in. Though our faces, cultures, and races are completely different, we gather as one church under the banner of Jesus. What else could this be but the grace of the Lord?

One soul and one family have been so precious. We can only look forward with expectation to what God will do in Jesus. Peace be with everyone.

모든 것이 은혜다. 우리는 4년 동안 참 열심히 기도하고, 열심히 아파하고, 열심히 조롱당하기도 하며, 열심히 달려온 것 같다. 다만 그 열심이 하나님의 열심이었기를 바랐다.

모두의 수고에 고개가 숙여진다. 들어오고 나가고, 이사 가고 이사 오고, 얼굴도 문화도 인종도 전혀 다른 우리들이 하나의 교회에서 예수님의 깃발 아래 모인다는 것이 주의 은혜가 아니고 무엇이랴!

한 영혼과 한 가정이 너무나도 소중했다. 하나님께서 예수님 안에서 하실 일이 기대될 뿐이다. 모두에게 평안을 빈다.

Todo es gracia. Durante los últimos cuatro años, hemos orado con mucho fervor, hemos sufrido profundamente, en ocasiones hemos soportado burlas y hemos seguido corriendo con diligencia. Solo espero que nuestro fervor haya sido el fervor de Dios.

Inclino mi cabeza con gratitud por el esfuerzo de todos. Hemos llegado y partido; algunos se han mudado y otros han venido. Aunque nuestros rostros, culturas y razas son completamente diferentes, nos reunimos como una sola iglesia bajo la bandera de Jesús. ¿Qué podría ser esto sino la gracia del Señor?

Una sola alma y una sola familia han sido muy preciosas. Solo esperamos con gozo lo que Dios hará en Jesús. Que la paz sea con todos.

English:  The church is more than a place to worship — it’s a family where we share life together.  Our community groups, especially those reaching out to neighbors who are suffering, poor, or marginalized, and those whom help rarely reaches, help people connect, encourage one another, and grow in faith side by side.

English:
People of many races, cultures, and languages come together and live as one church.
Under one God, we read the Bible and serve the community through service, missions, and a passion for justice for people through Jesus Christ.
We dedicate our efforts to denominational policies, presbytery movements, and the activities of local churches.
When America loses sight of the truth, the church will raise its voice.
When border cities and the government ignore the human rights of immigrants, we bring it before God.
And we remain awake in prayer for God’s grand vision at all times.

Personas de muchas razas, culturas y lenguas se reúnen y viven como una sola iglesia.
Bajo un solo Dios, leemos la Biblia y servimos a la comunidad a través del servicio, las misiones y la pasión por la justicia para las personas mediante Jesucristo.
Dedicamos nuestros esfuerzos a las políticas denominacionales, los movimientos del presbiterio y las actividades de las iglesias locales.
Cuando Estados Unidos pierde de vista la verdad, la iglesia alzará su voz.

Border cities have many real stories. Travelers and migrants have stayed here, all with dreams of moving into the mainland of the United States.
Because of work, education, and the challenges of life, many people had to leave the church for various reasons. The church always blesses them.
All of them were great, dedicated, and contributed a lot to the church. We always pray for them, wonder about their lives, and want to share greetings here.
This is a space to share the warmth and unity of Koreans, the connection of various ethnicities, and a community where people can live together.

국경의 도시에는 참 사연들도 많습니다. 나그네들도 남았습니다. 이 도시를 거쳐 미국 본토로 진출하고자 하는 꿈이 모두 있습니다. 일 때문에, 교육 때문에, 그리고 생활이 쉽지 않아서 여러 가지 이유로 교회를 떠나야 했던 오고갔던 사람들을 교회는 늘 축복합니다.
그러나 그들 모두는 위대했고 헌신적이었으며 교회에 많은 도움을 주고 갔던 사람들입니다.
늘 기도하며 그들의 소식이 궁금하고 잘 지내는지, 이곳에서 안부를 나누고 싶습니다.

Las ciudades fronterizas tienen muchas historias reales. También se han quedado viajeros y migrantes, todos con sueños de llegar al territorio continental de Estados Unidos.
Por trabajo, educación y las dificultades de la vida, muchas personas tuvieron que dejar la iglesia por diversas razones. La iglesia siempre los bendice.
Todos ellos fueron grandes, dedicados y contribuyeron mucho a la iglesia. Siempre oramos por ellos, nos interesa saber cómo están y queremos compartir saludos aquí. Este es un espacio para compartir el afecto y la unidad de los coreanos, la conexión con diversas etnias y una comunidad donde las personas puedan convivir.
